Mulberry Corner is delighted to invite local families to Our Biggest Open House on Saturday 7 February 2026, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

This relaxed, drop-in open day is all about opening our doors and welcoming families into Mulberry Corner to experience what everyday nursery life really feels like. There’s no timetable and no formal structure—children are free to explore at their own pace, follow their interests, and lead the way as families spend time in our learning spaces.

Throughout the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Explore our welcoming indoor and outdoor environments
Meet our friendly, experienced team
See how learning happens naturally through play, care, and everyday moments
Get a feel for the calm, supportive atmosphere that helps children feel safe, confident, and at home

At Mulberry Corner, we believe children learn best when they feel secure and nurtured. From creative play and music to cosy spaces for quiet moments and opportunities for outdoor exploration, our nursery will showcase what makes Mulberry Corner a special place for children to grow and thrive.

Supporting Children’s Hospice South West

This year’s Biggest Open House will also support Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), one of Happy Days’ Charities of the Year. Families attending are warmly invited to make an optional donation on the day to help raise vital funds for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and the families who care for them.

By supporting CHSW, we’re bringing our community together for a meaningful cause and helping children begin to understand kindness, compassion, and the importance of supporting others.

This fun week is all about:

Each day has a themed activity designed for specific age ranges, giving children the chance to explore food in playful, creative, and sensory ways. Families can join the fun, spend time together, and discover more about life at Mulberry Corner.

All activities are free, but spaces are limited!

But it’s not just about the activities, it’s also a chance for families to: ‍ Meet our team and get to know the passionate practitioners who make our nursery so special. Tour the nursery in action, seeing how our environments support learning, play, and development every day. Ask any questions about funding, from government entitlements to our all-inclusive SHINE. Alongside the fun, families who attend will also have the opportunity to enrol without paying the enrolment fee, a fantastic way to join our community while saving on nursery costs.
